2020

In May 2020, I organised an exhibition of selected works at home in Rio de Janeiro, one month before leaving Brazil. Within the limits of confinement, it could only be seen by video and during a live hour long tour on Instagram. The main focus was on the presence of the body between figuration and abstraction and included over 80 confinement watercolours, some large oil paintings and dozens of collage works. 10% of all sale proceeds were donated to www.EDUMAIS.org a charity working in the communities in Rio with educational projects and during the Covid crisis helping over 600 families with food and hygiene basics.
